Scars are more than visible traces – they are an expression of profound processes in the tissue.
The Liedler concept understands scars not only as a local phenomenon, but as a systemic change with effects on mobility, tension and regulation in the entire body.
This approach combines sound osteopathic knowledge with tried-and-tested techniques for treating adhesions and adhesions – for greater freedom of movement, lightness and physical integration.
The four levels
The concept is based on a multi-layered understanding of scar tissue and its effect on the organism. Treatment is carried out on four levels:
- Scar
- Fascial adhesions (superficial and deep)
- Peritoneal adhesions
- Psycho-emotional-spiritual level
Each of these levels is systematically addressed in the concept, with the focus on restoring functional sliding layers and releasing deeply anchored tension patterns.
Why scars cause tension
Scars are the result of wound healing processes. The original tissue elasticity is only restored to approx. 80%.
Adhesions in the deeper fascial layers or in the peritoneum often arise unnoticed – their effects often only become apparent through compensatory patterns, chronic tension or functional complaints in distant areas of the body.
What makes the Liedler concept special
In contrast to classic scar treatments, the Liedler concept works with a deep-acting technique that specifically uses traction, shear forces and joint integration – always tailored to the individual tension patterns.
Not only superficial, but especially deep tissue layers are addressed – with the aim of dissolving microscopic adhesions, restoring mobility and promoting systemic regulation.
