Radial Shock Wave Therapy for Scars – Little Known, Very Effective!

Radial shock wave therapy (RSTW) for scars – little known, but very effective!
πŸ™Œ Thank you Peter Rossegger/PEROmed!

Why at all? For relaxed, soft scar structures and a more beautiful scar appearance. For better and easier integration of the scar into the body. For more mobility and well-being in the body.

Area of application for scars: the superficial 5cm – skin with the underlying tissue layers

How? Shock waves are sound wave-like, high-energy pressure waves that cause restructuring, regeneration and improved blood circulation in the tissue. In the case of chronic inflammation, RSTW supports wound healing and alleviates pain symptoms.

Why for scars? Scar tissue is a replacement tissue to close the wound. It only regains 80% of its original elasticity. Adhesions, which often form as companions to the scar, are often palpable as hardening, compaction or nodules in the scar area. Both the scar and adhesions can restrict the mobility of the tissue and the surrounding area. This results in a lack of mobility, which the body has to compensate for in other ways: tension and chronic pain can develop in other areas of the body.
Using RSTW, both hard adhesions around the scar and in the superficial tissue layers as well as tense and compacted tissue structures can be loosened well and sustainably in 2-5 sessions. Redness of scars fades.

The advantage of RSTW? Maximum effectiveness in a short time (2-5 sessions of 10 minutes each) for the superficial tissue layers, noticeable from the 1st treatment – for patient and therapist!

The best in my experience? In combination with the Liedler concept, in order to also take and loosen the deep tissue layers well!

Fast, effective and sustainable!
